What does it mean to be celibate? It means that you don't have sex outside of marriage. Sex outside of marriage is considered sexual immorality. We know that God loves us and we know that He will provide the right wife for us as we seek to fulfill His will for our lives. When we obey God, He gives us His Holy Spirit to bring peace and strength. You will be able to focus on building quality relationships rather than fulfilling impulses that take you away from the will of God. Through filling our minds with God's word and growing in His grace, and by praying with other believers for strength, we can build the character and discipline that it takes to marry and stay married.

Stop listening to music that doesn't strengthen you spiritually and start listening to music that helps you experience God's presence.
Cut off relationships with people that aren't committed to walking close to God. If you have a girlfriend that isn't a believer, get out. If your girlfriend isn't committed to staying pure sexually, get out.
Start praying with someone that is committed to the principles of serving God and marriage. Pray for a wife and pray that God would prepare you for marriage. If you are in a relationship, pray that God would give you strength and that you will have wisdom in your relationship.
Read and study the Bible intensely. Memorize verses that pertain to sexual purity and spiritual warfare.
Write about the experiences that affect you emotionally. Pray with people to break strongholds.
Focus on your career, setting goals and taking steps to acheive them.
Discover something that you love to do be it music, art, a sport and do it really well.
Read Every Man's Battle, a book about being free from lust.
Start getting phone numbers and emails of godly women. Spend time with godly Christian women.
